How Long Does It Take to Develop a Custom Wallet Sample?

Standard Timeline Breakdown

1.Design & technical confirmation  

Once you share your reference images, sketches, dimensions, logo placement and material requirements, our technical team creates a 2D cutting pattern. We confirm construction details, hardware, stitching and lining specifications before cutting raw materials.

2.Material sourcing and preparation

If requested leather, lining, snap buttons, zippers and thread are in stock: 2–3 days.

If special materials (vegetable-tanned leather, custom branded hardware, exclusive colours) need ordering: 3–5 days or longer, subject to supplier lead time.

3.Prototype sample making

Our craftsmen cut leather, sew compartments, install hardware and assemble the physical wallet sample.

Simple styles (cardholders, slim bifold): 3–4 days

Complex styles (tri-fold, long wristlet with multiple card slots, zipper pockets): 5–7 days

4.Quality check & photo / video documentation

We inspect dimensions, stitching, hardware strength and finishing, then send sample photos, videos or arrange physical shipment.
