How did Godere assist a German client with the prototyping and development of their first custom wallet?

Recently, Godere received a custom request from German client. The client is establishing their own independent wallet brand and plans to launch their first in-house designed wallet product, seeking our assistance for customized development and prototyping.

The client already has a complete product concept and design plan. As a new brand founder, they aim to develop a prototype before moving into mass production, while also seeking key production information such as material selection, manufacturing processes, prototyping procedures, and minimum order quantities. After thorough communication and coordination, Godere officially accepted this custom wallet sample project.

For this sample project, the wallet will be made from microfiber material with finished dimensions of 9×11 cm. Upon receiving the client’s design, our R&D and prototyping team will follow the original design closely, completing all necessary steps including pattern making, leather cutting, component processing, sewing assembly, and final product inspection. Throughout the prototyping process, we will provide the client with technical recommendations and professional guidance on material choices and structural design to help refine product details.

Once the sample is completed, the client can evaluate the fit, texture, and visual appearance based on the physical prototype. Only after confirmation of satisfaction will the subsequent mass production proceed.
