Behind Goderebag Production: From Pattern-making to Leather Cutting

At godere leather bag manufacturing factory, great handbags start with precise pattern-making and thoughtful craftsmanship. Our sample-development workshop is currently working on new bag styles, showing the key workflow from paper pattern drafting to leather cutting.

In godere’s pattern-making room, experienced pattern makers are drafting and revising paper templates. On the worktable, rulers, marking pens and multiple paper patterns are laid out. Every curve, seam and dimension is carefully measured and double-checked. These paper patterns act as the blueprint for each bag. Only accurate patterns can deliver a well-shaped final product with both beautiful aesthetics and practical storage performance.

Once the paper pattern is finalized, we move on to leather cutting. The verified templates are transferred onto genuine leather material to cut individual pieces. The large black leather cut-pieces in our photos showcase natural leather grain, neat stitching marks and reserved positions for straps, hardware labels and seam joints.

Each leather piece is carefully inspected to remove material defects, ensuring consistent texture across the whole batch. Pre-reserved mounting positions for hardware and reinforcement seams lay a solid foundation for later sewing, edge-painting and assembly processes.

Every new style goes through multiple rounds of sample revisions before mass production. We fine-tune bag shape, size and structure to balance design, wearing comfort and long-term durability.

We offer full-service ODM & OEM for leather bags. Customization including style modification, size adjustment, pantone color matching and logo hardware branding is available starting from the pattern-making stage. We support bulk wholesale orders for global brands and cross-border sellers.
